I did not notice this previously, but Esplanade has put up a neat permanent display of its history entitled Passages: The Esplanade Story. It is located at the concourse, elevated and near the entrance of Esplanade Theatre. Its pretty impressive, and free of charge! Do take a look when you have a few pre- or post-concert minutes to spare.
