Vietnam's Perfume Pagoda (Chua Huong)

A day trip to Vietnam's fabled Perfume Pagodas (Chua Huong) is well worth the trouble. Located some 60 km south of Hanoi, its rugged karst landscape, river scenery and Shangri-la-like temples conjure a sense of serenity and timelessness.
