Here is a piano recital not to miss: Thailand's finest young pianist Poom Prommachart performs an all-Chopin programme of his greatest music, the 24 Preludes (Op.28) and the Third Sonata in B minor (Op.58).
Poom was a student at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and London's Royal College of Music. He has recently completed his doctorate at the University of Montreal, while a student of the great Vietnamese pianist Dang Thai Son, Asia's first winner of the Chopin International Piano Competition in 1980.
