Part 1: BANG KRACHAO


A little secret. In between all the profusion of concerts, my wife and I made an escape to Bangkok, Thailand. Arriving on Saturday 29 March, we just missed the disastrous earthquake that rocked both Myanmar and Thailand. Truth be told, Bangkok was not greatly affected except for one building collapse and the temporary suspension of rail services. 

We made it safely to the quiet seclusion of Bang Krachao, an island shaped by the massive bend of the Chao Phraya River. Here was an idyllic existence, where we languished at the Bangkok Tree House resort, and got to meet a few cats and other wildlife. Here are the photos!
