We've been to Yuen Kee Dumplings before, but that was in Hong Kong. They have many outlets in Singapore too, and we found one in Clementi Central. It's located opposite Clementi Polyclinic and Clementi 321 Mall, and it's also new, opened sometime last year.
Having had high expectations from our Hong Kong experience, we were not disappointed. Like its HK version, you can see the dumplings freshly prepared by the staff through a glass panel, and that's deliberate to show that everything is new and hygienic.
The portions are generous, especially when you order the set which has lots of greens - either cabbage or broccoli. We had both. The dumplings were quite delicious and the soup stock not over-salty. We will be coming back, wherever Yuen Kee may be.
