4 MILLION VIEWS FOR PIANOMANIA!

I simply cannot believe it! Pianomania has just chalked its fourth million view as of this evening. This is especially heartening that its 3 millionth view was recorded as recently as 7 January this year. While I cannot call this viral in any way, I am humbled that anybody has taken the time to share in my indulgences, whether it is in classical concerts, CD recordings, food and cats. 

This blog was started in 2008 to record my observations at international piano competitions, and later as a repository of my Straits Times articles and reviews. One important aspect of my blog was to document the goings-on in the local music scene in the form or words and photographs. This later included food articles, which certainly helped in boosting the numbers. I guess people in Singapore still love their food more than their music. I hope that can change sometime!

3 MILLION VIEWS FOR PIANOMANIA!

As of sometime early this evening, PIANOMANIA (pianofortephilia.blogspot) has just garnered its 3 millionth page read! The 2 millionth read was reached in July 2024, while the 1 millionth hit took place sometime in 2016. 

Started in 2008, this blog was begun to document my thoughts and views on international piano competitions which I was attending, and it later became a repository for all my Straits Times articles and reviews. Of late, I've also begun to share photos of cats, food and enjoyable meals (although this is not a dining blog)! 

All I can say is a BIG THANK YOU and lots of love for your patience and comments!

As of this morning, PIANOMANIA has just received its 1 millionth read! To be honest, the view counter came into effect in 2010 although the blog was started in 2008, so its millionth view was probably some years ago. But this landmark is still worth a celebration of sorts.
