SUKA MAKAN: PHNOM PENH STREET FOOD / PART I

If Suka Makan in Phnom Penh gave the mistaken impression that we were dining in fine eateries, it should not go unmentioned that we also had a fair share of the city's lovely street food. Like the old days of Singapore, food vendors may before at every street corner, and one could easy stop and buy, and enjoy.

No crap, just crab sticks added into the cheese.

On this fine Friday morning, while walking on Preah Ang Eng Street 13, we spotted this fast-food stall. Wondering what Pizza Crap tasted like, we could not resist the temptation. It was delicious, and we did not suffer any ill-effects.

Now have a slice of pizza crap!
The anti-Thailand sentiment still exists.

On the same evening, we similarly spotted some stalls on Sihanouk Boulevard just before attending the Phare Circus act at Nagaworld 2. We shared a Bali Fried Rice, and Janet swore she never had a better tasting fried rice ever. We also had the Cambodian version of ice kachang, and that was excellent too. No crap, we did not get gastroenteritis during our entire stay in Cambodia!

If one wondered what Singapore ice cream
was, it's just usual ice-cream eaten with
a slice of bread. No big deal.
